That was the quote by Mr. Marc Stordiau, CEO of Rent A Port after the signing ceremony of the Addendum Nr1 to the Memorandum of Understanding (M.O.U) signed between the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam (MARD) and the Belgium company Rent A Port. The event took place on the 8th day of April, 2017 in Hanoi, Vietnam. The first M.O.U was previously signed in the Energy for Tomorrow Conference in November, 2016 in Paris. The M.O.U initiated the official collaboration between MARD and Rent A Port in developing the Off-Grid Wind Powered Desalination Project to counter the serious salt intrusion problem in various provinces of Vietnam.

The ceremony also marked the completion of the Pre-Feasibility Study accomplished for the project. A hard cover of the study was officially delivered by Rent A Port to MARD. It confirms the passion for supporting Vietnam overcoming the problem that has been drastically damaged the agriculture production as well as the livelihoods of Vietnamese people. Also it plays an important part in bringing Rent A Port closer to a goal of becoming one of the pioneers in Green Energy and Sustainable Development in Vietnam.

The Addendum introduces new terms that strengthen the collaboration between two Parties. It emphasises on the close cooperation between Rent A Port and MARD in investigating financial resources from International Financial Institutions, European countries and other countries for future development of the project.
