At Rentouch, we’re always thinking about ways to improve collaboration and teamwork. Especially in Agile, it’s crucial for teams to be focused on the work that will bring in the most value for the business. But, when work on large, distributed teams, it can be challenging to reach a consensus on where to focus our efforts.

One solution is using the Weighted Shortest Job First prioritization method. It’s a way for teams to come together, whether remotely or in person, and use a formula to determine which tasks will take the least amount of time but offer the greatest business value.

This week, we’re reminiscing about a conversation we had with Ian J. Franks back in early 2020. Even though the world has adapted to remote work since then, the tips and tricks that he shared are still just as relevant today.
