Where do you need to go to find Dr. Right in Thailand?

It’s not as easy as some companies like to make it seem. Here, the renuval team discusses why it’s important to have the right surgeon, in the right hospital, tailored for your surgery.

Finding your the perfect surgeon doesn’t have to be a hassle. Our team explain why and how.

You probably know the basics (if you don’t, then listen to our regular podcasts discussing topics like Breast Augmentation in Thailand) breast implant brands available in Thailand like Mentor, breast implant types like round or teardrop, breast augmentation incision areas, implant placements and so on.

We don’t want to downplay that key information, of course, it’s important. That’s why we cover everything with each client, just like we will with you, and then we talk about how things work from our experience assisting with breast surgery clients in Bangkok, Phuket, Pattaya, Sri Racha and anywhere we’ve assisted renuval clients with breast procedures in Thailand.

Today, though, we’re going to talk about the first thing — arguably the most important choice you’ll make — on your way to a breast augmentation in Thailand.

Of course, if you have any questions that we don’t cover, just email us at info@renuval.com and our team will get right back to you, but let’s get to the point…

Choosing The Right Breast Implant Surgeon

Because we know you’ll do your job on following pre-op and post-op advice, the surgeon is the number one choice you will make in this process. That’s why at renuval we start talking surgeons from the moment you contact us about your breast surgery in Thailand.

As soon as you get in touch with us, one of our experienced client service team members will take charge of your case. They’ll read your inquiry carefully and recommend the best Thai surgeon or surgeons (yes, multiple opinions are fine!) we think are the right fit, while making sure to send you personalized info about procedures, costs, schedules and other details that are important in your decision to come to Bangkok, or go to Phuket or Pattaya — or elsewhere.

“I spoke with Dr. Poonsak who assured me of the right size and measurements… Dr. Poonsak and the nurses were comforting me with kind words and stroking my hand - it was so nice to be cared for in that way.”

Why Is The Plastic Surgeon So Important?

Because you’re literally going to be cut open, while under anesthesia, and you’re going to entrust your long-term appearance and health to one person — the surgeon. You’re expecting both a safe procedure and a successful outcome.

That’s pretty stark, but we take it that seriously, so we like to put it up front.

With all the palm trees and bikinis flying around in the other marketing for similar services, those facts get purposely buried.

While you’re looking around, it’s worth keeping in mind the seriousness of the situation, because when you’re in the room before surgery it will hit you — and when it hits you, you’ll want the security of knowing that you did your homework with us, up front — that you made the safest, best choices and are in good hands.

If you’ve done that with renuval, you’ll be fully informed about your breast surgery and your plastic surgeon before you even make your decision.

You’ll know what’s going to happen, you’ll receive personal assistance and lifetime support and you won’t ever pay us any money — but, most importantly, you’ll have access to the best possible surgeon for your breast implant surgery in Bangkok, Phuket, Pattaya or wherever you decide!

We can say that sincerely, because the renuval network is unique in that it spans close relationships throughout Thailand, giving us access to more than 30 excellent Thai plastic surgeons with different backgrounds and specialties.

We’ve built it that way, relationship by relationship, precisely because one size does not fit all. Whatever before and after photos you’ve seen and whatever you’ve read, your body and desired result are unique to you — and you might be surprised at the little details that matter during the pre-op and post-op process as well as during your visit.

For example, you’ll often hear former patients write that their surgeon is brilliant and that they would trust him or her with anything — and quite often they did have a brilliant surgeon, but all surgeons have specialties and preferences that may be perfect for one person’s procedures and needs, but might be — by the surgeon’s own admission — a bad match in another case.

Some plastic surgeons don’t do revision breast surgeries, some won’t work with extremely large breast implants, some will ask for extra photographs up front, some prefer round implants over teardrop (anatomic), some like one placement technique versus another — the list goes on and it’s a lot to know, but we do our best to really know it and to know about the plastic surgeon community here in Thailand.

“Dr. Sanguan has followed up on my case regularly. In fact, renuval email me regularly as well.”

Back to the beginning, though, this all starts by listening to your requests, offering plastic surgeon options for your breast augmentation and — 100% free to you — handling everything from your inquiry all the way to lifetime support after your procedure.

That means a fully scheduled 12 months of followups after your breast enlargement surgery here in Thailand as well as assistance anytime you need it after you go home. Even if it’s just a little question, don’t hesitate, we’ll be there for you by phone or at info@renuval.com.

Book Direct & Save Across Our Network

Now, imagine you’re inquiring with us.

When it comes to your surgeon, are you upsizing to larger implants after a previous breast augmentation?

Maybe Dr. Narupon at Samitivej Chinatown is the right choice for you.

What about a lift and augmentation? Many surgeons specialize in this, but you might prefer Dr. Worapong or Dr. Boonchai at either Bangpakok9 or Phyathai 2 in Bangkok, Dr. Pichit Siriwan at Samitivej Chinatown in Bangkok or maybe Dr. Jib or Dr. Poonsak at PPSI in Phuket.

Things can get really detailed as well.

For example, if you need a lift and augmentation with an anchor incision in Thailand, we have excellent options in Bangkok, like Dr. Theera, who are available at a very fair price.

On the other hand, let’s say that you are only in need of a periareolar lift and augmentation. You might be better off paying considerably less in Pattaya with Dr. Anuchit and his team.

Nobody understands the complex relationship of surgeons, prices and procedure details like renuval. That’s why we get into your needs in a very detailed way, because this is a large medical community with a lot of surgeons and facilities and, frankly, in most cases that’s being hidden from view by boobie holiday agencies that contract with 2–3 hospitals max and who press to send you to only one, or a few plastic surgeons at only those hospitals.

But what if the best surgeon at the best price for your needs doesn’t work at that partner? Or, what if the surgeon you want can perform the same surgery just as safely — and more affordably — somewhere else?

That’s where the renuval network really gives you options.

Price Or Location — Which Is More Important?

You might have read or heard people saying things like “Phuket is the best for breasts” or that a particular hospital in Bangkok “does the best boobs.” In a medical community as large as Thailand’s, it’s almost never that simple.

There are now 60 JCI Accredited facilities in Thailand. That’s a lot of international quality hospitals — and that means a lot of doctors and surgeons who work at the international level as well.

One thing that’s important to remember is that, as mentioned above, plastic surgeons, increasingly, work at multiple facilities — sometimes even in multiple cities. In other words, the same plastic surgeon provides the exact same quality care for fly-in patients at different places.

In Thailand, the prices are most often set by the facility (though we also work directly with some surgeons and surgeon groups), which means you have way more options than you think, even with a single surgeon.

Would you prefer to pay 115,000 THB (as of Jan 2018) for a breast augmentation with Dr. Visnu at Phuket Plastic Surgery Institute in Phuket or would you rather pay 99,000 THB (as of Jan 2018) for the same breast implant procedure with Dr. Visnu at Samitivej Chinatown in Bangkok?

What about Dr. Seree? Would you rather pay Bumrungrad’s fees to have a facelift with him or would you rather book him direct through renuval and pay a lower fee at a different, but safe and high quality JCI Accredited hospital?

Of course, sometimes your destination is key — and provided that there’s a good surgeon where you’re going that’s a choice for you to make. We’re happy to help :)

Using breast augmentation as an example, like with Dr. Visnu above, paying that extra 16,000 THB — which is over $600 AUD as of January 2018 — for a breast augmentation in Phuket is worth it for some clients, while other clients of our free service would rather save that money for hotels, shopping and sightseeing.

It’s entirely up to you, which is how we want it.

The thing to remember is that, provided there are surgeons matching your needs in a given location — which there definitely are for breast augmentation — it’s your call.

Don’t believe the chatter out there about one city or hospital being better at breast implant surgeries in Thailand. Cities and hospitals don’t perform surgery, surgeons do, and our partner surgeons are all over Thailand and, quite often, available in multiple locations at multiple prices. Just ask!

Wrapping Up — Keeping Abreast Of The Costs

It’s now 2018, which means starting this month a lot of facilities are going to reevaluate prices and, in some cases, change them. The policy at many of those facilities — not always advertised — is that if you get a surgeon’s recommendation then it’s valid for 3 months, sometimes up to 6 months, provided there are no medical changes to the recommendation.

So, now’s a good time to lock in the rate you want if you’re planning on coming in the early part of 2018.

In Phuket, you can book a basic breast augmentation at PPSI for 115,000 THB with Dr. Piyapas, Dr. Jib (Pongsatorn), Dr. Veerawat, Dr. Rushapol, Dr. Sanguan, Dr. Witoon and more — though some popular surgeons have changed their work arrangement, like Dr. Poonsak who is taking fewer cases as he focuses on reconstructive surgery across town at Bangkok Hospital Phuket.

In Bangkok, there are just too many options to list for a breast augmentation, but off the top of our heads you can book Dr. Thanakom for 95,000 THB (not including 5,000 THB pre-op test fee) at Vejthani, you can book Dr. Narupon or Dr. Visnu at Samitivej Chinatown starting at 99,000 THB, you can book Dr. Poonpissamai through us at Nirunda for 99,000 THB or, if you’re looking for Dr. Boonchai or Dr. Worapong, you can book them for a basic breast augmentation starting at 112,000 THB — and the list goes on and on, including extremely experienced surgeons like Dr. Chartchai, Dr. Pichit and Dr. Witoon and many more.

The thing is, who is specifically right for you based on your needs — the location, the price and, most importantly, the specifics of your breast implant procedure here in Thailand.

Take some time and write a couple of sentences that fully describe what you want.

Then, if you’ve had any previous procedures, take some time to write down the details, because the surgeon will want to know what was done, when, who did it and what the result has been.

Finally, and this is advice that applies no matter where you go in Thailand for what procedure, do not pay anyone for medical care until you’re at the hospital and have agreed to move forward. Hospitals and surgeons do not charge deposits, booking fees or any of the other marketing nonsense that parts you with your money and locks you into choices before you’re in the room and ready to make them.

Keep your money in your pocket and let renuval be your helping hand now, during your trip and for the rest of your life.
