Hello! We’re a young startup called Replay.io. We help software teams fix issues much faster because we’ve invented a time-traveling debugger. If you’re a web developer or work with one, go check it out!

What’s all this about, then?

Every week, we send an internal note called “The Week in Product.” It’s a way for the six of us to stay abreast of what each of us are working on, celebrate wins, coordinate what’s coming next, and offer a chance to give feedback and ask questions. After doing this for many months, we’re ready to share our progress publicly. Here are the notable changes this week!

A lovely new upload screen. The previous version was meant to be an MVP, which might as well have stood for “Much Voiced Pain.” People really struggled with it, and let us know, so we made some big improvements.

Comments. We’ve been investing tons of time into making comments as amazing as possible. We’ll spare you the technical details, but we moved mountains last week to make them even better.

Library. A lot of products make it hard to find what you’re looking for. (I’m looking at you, Google Docs!) Last week we added human-readable filters and a great search to make sure our library is a delight to use. Our search is even faster than Google Docs now, which doesn’t seem like something that should be possible. But we did!

That’s it?

Yup! We’re trying to keep these short and sweet. We did close 42 issues on our Github that you’re welcome to take a look at, and we’d love to chat with you on our Discord if you have questions or comments! 👋
