Do you want to ‘re-trade’ yesterday’s market or test out some ideas? That’s what market replay was designed for — it’s the ‘history player’ of trading. It’s a great tool for beginners or advanced users who want to learn to trade the market better by getting months of practice within hours.

By using real-world data, you can see simulated trading outcomes and practise trading as if it was happening live. This is a great way to test strategies, indicators, entry/exit rules or fine-tune your order flow reading skills in a safe and rather realistic environment.

How does it work?

You can replay markets from a certain date or time period and the software usually comes with different speed settings. That means you get to save lengthy amounts of time spent on live data by taking better control of your time.
Pause and play stock actions to see the effects of your decisions and study your trading errors to find adjustments that would’ve resulted in a more profitable outcome.

There may be no shortcut to success, but this is certainly one way to make that journey worth it.

Where can you find market replay?

Here are some platforms that offer the market replay feature.
