TD Reply is a consultancy based in Berlin and Beijing that delivers data-driven marketing and sales solutions across a wide range of industries.

Aaron has been a data scientist with TD for 3 years, where he has delivered models and solutions to clients like L’Oréal, Telefonica and Coca-Cola.

Niklas has been with TD for close to 8 years and heads the department of Data-Driven Marketing. One of his main clients is Coca-Cola, for whom he and Aaron developed the “Advanced Outlet Analytics” approach.

Hi guys, thank you for joining us today! What is the topic of your Labcamp?

While e-commerce companies are adept at using data to optimise their product portfolio, sales and marketing performance, traditional retailers and brands are still struggling to leverage digital data in their still mostly physical daily business. Our Labcamp explores how to use data from various digital touch-points (e.g. Google Places, Social Media and Review sites like Yelp and TripAdvisor) in order create an added value for offline stores and offline sales teams.

How did you hear about this topic first?

We took part in a workshop organised by different Coca-Cola entities. In this workshop, the first rough idea of Advanced Outlet Analytics was drafted, and we subsequently won a pitch to deliver the actual work.

How did you feel while preparing and delivering this Labcamp?

The workshop itself went as we had hoped for: participants engaged a lot in order to come up with original solutions and ideas. 💡

One trick to create a learning effect was to have everyone put themselves in the 👟 of consumers, in order to figure out which digital touch points are relevant in offline retail, and to identify what data can be derived from them.
