20,000 Museum Passes sold since launching two weeks ago

The Belgian Government project, Museum Pass Musées, has sold more than 20,000 passes all over Belgium in two weeks since its launching. It is an annual card, set to promote the Belgian culture, that gives free entrance to more than 120 museums around the country.

A great variety of museums can be found in Belgium, that is the reason the government has decided to create an entrance pass valid for the whole year. The Museum Pass Musées is a card that costs 50 euros and gives access to more than 120 museums in Belgium, as many times as the consumer desires. It also provides access to temporary exhibitions freely or for a significant reduction. King Philip of Belgium received the very first Museum Pass Musées.

This new Belgian Government project has the main purpose of keeping the national heritage alive. Before this card, they launched Brussels Card, a touristic card valid for an exact period of time that offers entrance to some museums, city tours and attractions.

On the official Museum Pass webpage, customers can find weekly recommendations and information about the latest exhibitions in the selected museums.
