The central region of Limburg has various inspiring bikeroutes and three specific experience trails, offering different types of landscapes and adventure: “Cycling through Water” crossing the Visvijvers lake, “Cycling through Heathland” which is one of the typical local landscapes, and “Cycling through the Trees” where you cycle up to ten meters high between the trees.

Cycle roads throughout the region

In order to prevent the safety of cyclists, cities as Hasselt, also called “The Green Boulevard” developed traffic low and traffic free routes for bikes throughout its streets, especially inside the ring of the city where cycles are prioritized.

Indeed, in Hasselt, you can find red paths which are settled for bikes all over the centre with many blue signs and maps indicating your itinerary. Then, you will always have a way not to be lost!
