Brabant Killers case closer to being unmasked
The identity of the Belgian criminal group The Brabant Killers, who used to act in the 80’s, is still a problem. A lot of years have passed and the police have been unable to discover them. But it looks like, now, one identity has been confessed, the identity of “The Giant” of the gang.
The eighties were a hard decade for the Brabant’s police. Eighteen crimes, all of them committed by the same gang, befallen and they couldn’t give an answer to the citizens of Brabant.
The gang known as “The Brabant Killers” became famous because of their sadistic modus operandi. It was formed by The Giant -who whas the leader-, The Killer -who was the one that took their life of their victims-, and The Old Man -the one who drove-.They did not only committed crimes in supermarkets, they enjoyed by killing the people who were there. In fact, in their 18 crimes, twenty-eight people were murdered and more than 40 wounded by this gang.
The identities of all the members of the gang were a mystery, until last 21 October, day in where we discovered –in theory-, the identity of “The Giant”.
According to the police report, it is said that aperson who used to work in the paramilitary group of Diane (later renowned as SIE), confessed, just before to die (in 2015), that he had been “The Giant” over all these years.
“There are indications, but there is not still strong evidence that the person who confessed was actually The Giant”. Said the judicial authorities
True or not, is still an unknown fact. But the police have a lot of hope in this line of investigation and they will follow it, not only to discover “The Giant” but to discover the rest of the group
