“I have the honor and responsibility of managing some of the media teams on the ground at Standing Rock. And provide whatever gear and tools they need to do their job, which is in my opinion an incredibly critical job.

While corporate media is failing to report the truth of what’s happening at Standing Rock and continuing to spin their web of lies, it’s the citizens who have stepped forward in unity and have joined forces with our native brothers and sisters and with consumer and prosumer equipment have taken to the front lines and to the air and whatever’s necessary to capture what’s actually going on.

So, what I’m working on right now is providing the equipment that’s necessary. Today, we have had 8 drones shot down out of the sky. And I’m happy to say that thanks to the generosity of my friends we have new drones arriving tomorrow and the next day in Standing Rock to support these teams who are up all night long, filming, making sure that some of these actions that happen on the front line where peaceful protestors are brutalized by military style weapons and water and all of that, that we have an eye in the sky to watch and become a document of proof to what’s really happening there.

This footage will be no doubt used in court’s of law and to make sure that for the first time, really, that anything like this has happened on native land, that this is the first time our history books will actually reflect the truth. And we won’t be led down this path of misinformation and we’ll know what actually took place. And that’s all because of the brave citizen media teams that have formed and made major sacrifices to be there right now.”
