Tapas, Talks, and Tokenization: Moments from the Avalanche II Summit
A few weeks ago we joined over 4000 blockchain frens in the beautiful city of Barcelona for the 2nd annual Avalanche Summit held at the Poble Espanyol historical site.
There were product announcements, networking opportunities, deep conversations of the future, — and of course tapas!
On day 2 of the event our very own Karn Saroya, CEO of Re, was joined on the Mainnet Stage by Carlos Domingo, CEO of Securitize, Anurag Soin of ANZ Bank, Pat Hourigan, Cofounder of Defyca, and moderator Dr Genia Diamond from Minerva Advisory to discuss `Tokenizing off-chain assets, why is this time different this time?` The group covered a wide range of issues on the topic from current liquidity concerns, to overcoming biases of the past, and tactically how the Defi community moves forward.
