We are thrilled to welcome James Norris, FCAS, CERA as the new Chief Underwriting Officer at Re. With over 30 years of insurance and reinsurance expertise, James brings invaluable knowledge and leadership to the Re team.
Throughout his impressive career, James has held key roles in the insurance and reinsurance industry with companies like EC3 Brokers, Atlas General, and Greenlight Re. He also co-founded B2Z Insurance, a successful insurtech startup.
James is passionate about the reinsurance space and thrives on tackling complex challenges. His extensive industry experience and forward-thinking mindset will be crucial as Re establishes itself as a leading blockchain reinsurance company.
As Chief Underwriting Officer, James will oversee risk assessment and insurance decisions. By carefully evaluating risks, he can implement effective risk management strategies to ensure Re makes informed choices, avoids excessive losses, and maintains a profitable portfolio. His insights will also prove invaluable for forging strategic partnerships.
