What is the Republic of Designers?
We are the first global and most creative design community made by Pexeon for designers. The Republic of Designers is created to share ideas and business updates in the design industry. This community allows Designers and Artists all around the world to share their collective vision, discover new applications and design methods, and discover creative inspirations for your next groundbreaking design project. Why should I publish with the Republic of Designers?
We believe that by sharing your knowledge with our design community, we can help to make this global community stronger. If you submit an article to our publication, you will:
- Publish on the Republic of Designers, the first global design community. Our audience includes designers, artists, researchers, developers, and product managers.
- Get your story in front of our Twitter, Linkedin, Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest followers, and Newsletter subscribers. Our editors will publish a story about you or your business in our future design magazine (Coming Soon).
- News stories are featured on our Homepage, where they get maximum exposure.

You will retain ownership of your stories, and be able to make changes or remove them from the site at any time.
What type of content does the Republic of Designers publish?
- Stories about Design, Art, User Experience, Usability, UI Design, Branding, Visual Design, Motion Design, UX Research, Prototyping, Product Design, Case Studies, and Diversity in Design that aim to provoke change and help designers, artists, and leaders in the design community.
- We prioritize articles that are supported by existing research and are well-researched.
- We also publish portfolio pieces and their case studies. Our curious designers and artists will be glad and learn something new from your creations.
- We also promote posts from design brands or business profiles and also you can showcase your design products in our community to gain a larger audience. (If it's an affiliate product please disclose your affiliate link).
How do I submit my article?
- Just select the three dots near your publish button before publishing and after that select, the option “Add to publication” after that select the option of the Republic of Designers. And publish your story.
2. Think different. Respect the work of other authors who have been writing about that topic for years. Link to them. Give them credit for your own work and make it stronger while writing your article.
3. Email rod@pexeon.com a link to your Medium draft or published article with a one-sentence description. We also accept other blog articles if you have your own blog post on other websites. Just link your blog post, describe it, send us and our editors will take care of the rest.
4. If your article is a good fit for our publication, we will get back to you within 3 business days. We respond to every submission as soon as possible, but if we’re having a particularly busy week, please be patient. The best articles are not time-sensitive, so this shouldn’t be an issue.
5. Once you submit your article to us, our team of expert editors will review it. Once we’ve decided to publish your piece, we’ll add it to our queue. There’s normally a queue, and sometimes a queue can be quite lengthy. But when we publish you, we’ll ask you to keep your work with us for at least 1 year.
What will we edit before publishing your article?
- The title, lede, and cover image match our editorial style guide.
- Typos, formatting style, and minor copy edits.
- In case we want to propose more structural changes to your article, we will leave private notes.
- If you have any affiliate links don't worry we won't remove them but we also add disclosure of any affiliate links to your article if we find any undisclosed affiliate links.
My article has been featured by Medium. Can I add it to the Republic of Designers as well?
Yes. When you publish on Medium and add your story to a publication, you’re adding a whole new audience to it. Your story will still be promoted by Medium on its homepage and topic pages, in addition to the publication and the publication’s social channels.
Can I add my article to two publications?
Medium forbids duplicate content. Once your article has been published in another publication, we are not allowed to post it on our site.
I have an idea, but it’s not exactly an article…
We love to try new things in our content, from longer-form essays to special series and reports. Maybe your content is made of several short videos. Or you are writing a satirical piece. Or an open letter. Whatever your format or channel, we would like to help you get the word out about it.
