  • Look around on Rivet, then sign up to follow organizations and track opportunities that interest you!
  • Find and join online communities by and for your creative field in your city, area or country. Sign up for newsletters & listservs, follow Facebook pages and join groups, search hashtags on Twitter and Instagram like #opencall.
  • Read blogs, magazines, and web listings (here’s a quick list).
  • Show up in person at talks, events & openings to engage with people in your local scene.

Keep track of news however is easiest for you. Start with what’s nearby and accessible, by following community-led creative spaces and free publications in your neighborhood, city, region, or country. Depending on where you live, there might be a government agency, independent nonprofits, or foundations that exist to support local creatives.
