In the summer of 2017, we created RESEARCHER. Starting with a small team of 5 people, we have grown massively in the last year and a half. From product development and management, to data scientists, software engineers and marketing, the team continues to grow.
This is the first in a series of small interviews and a ‘get-to-know’ the team behind the RESEARCHER App. Just to warn you, the questions will be short and the replies may be shorter.

Tell us a bit about what you do here.
I work with the business development and marketing team to help develop and execute RESEARCHER’s go to market B2B strategies. I also help manage relationships with our B2B customers by helping them understand more about RESEARCHER and how we can help fulfil their business needs.
What were you doing before you worked at RESEARCHER?
I worked for CIMB — a Malaysian Bank in London — as an off-cycle compliance analyst and JP Morgan as a US equities investment specialist in asset management.
What do you like about working at RESEARCHER?
I love how collaborative the working environment is and having many supportive mentors — I really feel that my input is just as valued as anyone else’s in the organisation, even as a new joiner during this early stage in my career.
Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat: Mastering the Elements of Good Cooking.
The Bridget Jones Series.
What do you do outside of work?
I love cooking, socialising and eating (a lot of fried goodies) and of course, exercising it all off so I can do it all over again the next day. I did a lot of dance and gymnastics back in the day and have made it a mission to be very agile again in my mid-twenties.
The website you visit the most?
Netflix — very beige, yes.
Describe your job in three words.
Exciting, challenging, tea-filled.
