Adoption Update 30th March 2021
Reserve App Weekly Update
Another outstanding week for the Reserve app — no. 1 again in Finance Apps in Venezuela!
Adoption
We have 50,000+ downloads, but we don’t know how close to 100K we are (the next milestone on Google Play).
For some perspective, I had a quick look at TelCoins downloads on Google Play and they are still at 10K+, which is for a fully open app to the world.
App reviews still staying extremely positive
Holareserve followers have grown massively in March with the news of the app opening to all
I am collating followers for Instagram and TikTok as well now so hope to have something meaningful in the next few weeks. For info current numbers are : 11.4K Insta, 71.7K TikTok.
I’ve pulled some overall rankings figures and interestingly, it’s doing well in all the 4 countries it is valid (Venezuela, Argentina, Colombia and Panama), but also several others in LATAM!
I would expect these rankings to drop as the app goes back into private beta.
We’re 1 day away from the app going back into private beta, where access to use the app will be via referral system only. Reserve has always said this would be the case, but put up a Twitter poll just in case to give people the option of closing 1st April or 15th April. The vote was to close 1st April — this is to allow onboarding of new customer attention staff who can support the greatly enhanced levels of users. Since the process has now been completed before for the influx in March, this should be relatively smooth.
Initiatives
Reserve has been on a mental health initiative of late to highlight the importance of good mental health in general, but especially due to the pandemic. App users can pay with Reserve and also get 10% cashback.
More businesses are being registered with Reserve as well
For hitting 20k Twitter followers a $20 giveaway to 3 users
And of course the (by now) standard great feedback…
Abril
April for the non-Spanish speakers (although it’s not a quantum leap is it?) Top requests include PayPal integration and iOS compatibility — both of these we know are in the pipeline, so the next thing would be 24/7 support and more automation. I managed to spot a conversation Josh Furnas (head of product) and an app user had which suggests automation is going well — in this case waiting for a chat operator to validate your crypto transfer :
And on that bullish note, I shall sign off. See you in Abril!
