Why do people keep trying to guess
What 2020 will throw at us next?
Every guess
Every post
Every idea
Just gives the universe the excuse
To ramp up even more

Why do people keep asking
What 2020 has in store for us?
More pain
More illness
More problems
The more you ask this question
The more the universe sends our way

So many people hurting
So many lives destroyed
I believe things will get better
But not that things will get back to normal
We have to figure out a new normal
We have to decide what we will take
People need to learn to care

The biggest things any of us can do
To change the tilt of the world
Stay home. Stay healthy. Stay safe.
Care for the people around you
Help everyone find better
Ways to get what they need
Most of all: VOTE out those who don’t care
