Commits mass murder
We mourn the loss.
Bring-up gun control?
Suffer the indignation
Of the NRA-funded GOP
And be accused of
Politicizing the tragedy

A lone, undocumented immigrant
Commits a heinous crime
Murders another human being
We mourn the loss.
Under these circumstances
Who would be so callous
To immediately
Politicize the tragedy
With a call for the Wall
