Tell me, darling: —
have you seen him?
my boy of twenty,
loves me and his country?

Tell me, honey: —
just where is he?
says he’ll be back,
but sends only a flag?

Tell me, darling: —
why are you cheering?
war’s over, enemy’s gone,
still don’t hear my boy’s song?

Tell me, honey: —
are you happy?
our side won the fight,
my boy lost his light?

has a bad habit of referring to himself in third person point of view...and he just did it again...
