Against Judgmental Bullshit

Good Christian People always drive me nuts:
Exclusionary principles in hand,
“You’ve got to know whom you can do it to,”
And “We will drive the heathens from this land!”
Their cries…they scare the hell out of me now
And always have done, now more than before
As I become acquainted with them further,
And understand how they themselves adore.
Religion puts me off more as I age
And see the hatefulness it can inspire;
These people’s God loves only their small circle–
The rest of us are consigned to hell fire.
I much prefer the lovingkindness in
Agnostic souls, where difference is no sin.
