what is it to be human

if not to create our own illusions

we stand there truly spineless,

our own blindness to our blindness

full of pride and we claim the truth

of that which we only assume

will there ever be a time

when justice is truly blind

or will we continue to claim

and back it only with the name

the largest lie we make is to ourselves:

it is a sense of fairness that compels
