Cacophony

The world is loud today
Landscapers outside the window
Blowing leaves and trimming trees
Roofers banging on the ceiling
Putting on a new roof
But the loudest sounds in my world?
The nastiness of our president
Killing off the planet
Blaming everyone but himself
Screaming change back messages
To a world he doesn’t fit
Gladly will I join the cacophony
Gladly will I lend my voice
Impeach this cheating president
Kick out all his cronies
Bring our lives back to this century
And let us live free once again.
