After all the hurt and insanity
of the last four years,
we just wanted to sing
a sweet song of relief
and relax for a while,
and especially, to let
you know how much,
and how deeply
we support you.
But still, I’ll add this,
that we didn’t elect
you enough for you
to only make a few
small changes, go back
to “normal,” or simply
not make things worse.
Your win was significant
and very real, yes,
but does not include the
right to maintain the
status quo… we just
wanted you to know.
