Its not the media as we’ve been told

Those who are dismantling the Constitution

The enemies are archaic, misogynistic men who are OLD

The Violence Against Women Act has grown cold

Each step towards equality has been watered down by dilution

Its not the media as we’ve been told

Welcome back to the fifties, women you’ll do as your told

Men will own our bodies, we have become properties of the state, its devolution

The enemies are archaic, misogynistic men who are OLD

The patriarchy is in full strength, our necks in a stranglehold

Our voices will lessen, a diminution

Its not the media as we’ve been told

As Eve rides upon the Serpent, women are not to be trusted, as foretold

The epistles of St. Paul contributing to the female persecution

The enemies are archaic, misogynistic men who are OLD

What will we tell our little girls, not to be bold?

Teach them to resist, make noise, start a revolution?

Its not the media as we’ve been told

The enemies are archaic, misogynistic men who are OLD
