I Felt Carnage, in My Brain

I felt carnage, in my brain,
And screamers and mourners
Continue to bend — bend —
The muscles inside my brain like
Stroking an idea to come out

Of the blood bucket through a wet rag —
My temples, the edges of my world,
Beating faster than my heart — my mind
