I Had to Get Quiet, To Now Get Loud!
Resistance Haiku, Silent No More
Deep within fire
Burns. Quiet no more until
Trump falls on his face
A total disgrace
From dark comes light we fight now
With our voice #metoo
Wins. We will not quit
We root ourselves strong and sit
Upheaval begins!
Rulers beware! Your
Archetype creates a cause
For silence no more
No more silence now
Our throat chakra is open
United, one voice
Can you hear us loud?
We see you proud, we raise you
Double. We speak truth
Quiet no more now
Our daughters will witness the
Biggest most epic
Momentous event
Ever as we talk over
Ridiculous tweets
Standing up! We raise
Vibrational noise! Blood, sweat
Tears. Even our sons
Hold our hands lending
Strength to the snowball rage we
Collect. No insects
Will be allowed to
Infect this crowd, infesting
Black tar through our throats
We breathe, collecting
Resistance, accepting our
Persistence. Rising
From the Earthsโ stillness
Speaking from silence through words
Knowing we will be
Victorious and
Glorious and free. We will
Catch you as you fall
For we are human
We will cradle you Trump and
Blanket you softly
Down in the ground where
Flowers will grow from dirt with
Love. We rise above.
You opened our mouths
Hear us now, Iโm ready I
Had to get steady
Had to get quiet
To pull myself out of hell
Ready to battle
To overthrow you
Cocoon you down. Prevailing,
Our voices, our sound
Louder, getting round
Canโt stop this noise. Love trumps hate.
Poetically, we resist.
Resist, and Resist Fiercely ๐.
Quiet, Loud, Inward, Outward- it doesnโt matter โ take care within to emerge out.
(For me, I got the shit kicked out of me. I spun a cocoon. I went inward and my stories are webbed all over my Medium since November last year in regards to this challenge. Fighting for me, I will become ready to use my voice and rise again.)
Inspired by my Deep Dive into Silence Prompt at Chalkboard, from Kathy Jacobs Weekly One-Line Project. Iโd been sitting with this inside me for too long now waiting with intention for weeks and weeks โ hoping to send to Meg. Finally when I saw the Fire prompt from S Lynn Knight this week, the words flowed, affirming as always that we really do see things when we are supposed to.
