And the Fox News Channel jumps in and creates
A documentary of the hero’s life,
This child who was only seventeen
How he bravely fired his AR-15.
Not guilty, judge and jury said.
No justice for the two men dead.
And now three congressmen offer young Kyle
An internship, as if to pile
More insult onto injury.
What has happened to the land of the free?
The Party of Lincoln no longer exists,
In its place a psychotic mob that insists
These truths are no longer self-evident,
That laws can be broken and rules can be bent,
That truth is whatever our leader has spoken.
Land of the free and the home of the brave?
More like the land of the master and slave.
