Leaving Syria

Abandoning Syria in her time of need
Abandoning democracy for a dictator
It seems to be the thing the US does
Now that we have a lawless president

I don’t understand how anyone
With a heart, with a soul
Sees this as a good idea
Pulling troops, but not quick enough
