is like a game
of snakes and ladders

the white house
is full of snakes
hissing behind podiums
and slithering
all over history

and the ladders are few
those that remain
are at the verge of collapse
or coated with poison

the only way
to make it

home

is to cheat

at least we can all
learn from the best.
