A Terrible Joke

It’s a terrible joke
The worst joke
I have ever heard in my life,
It’s so bad I can’t believe
It’s actually been told.

The author of this gag
Should be imprisoned
For coming up
With this perversity,
Only the most disturbed mind
Can come up with such a joke.

There are those around
This awful joker
Who laughed a hearty laugh
As they passed it round
Among their kind
Then passed it on to us!

No decent person
Is laughing at this sick
And twisted joke.
A nation in
Anger and disbelief
As the vile unhinged Government
Give themselves pay rises,
More ill-gotten subsidies,
While underfunded
Health workers
Risk their precious lives.
