Dirty deeds are done

Flowing river cleanses not

Coins dropping too deep

I wrote this haiku for myself in April, 2018. I cannot remember what the precipitating event in the Trump Administration was at that time. There has been many, many more instances of same in the last two years. Hard to keep it all straight in my mind, as one day literally slides into another under our state’s lock-down order. I am looking forward to the November election.

A little bit about me:

Industrial-Organizational Psychology occupied my time in the private and government sectors for about 26 years before being called to teaching in the last 10 years of my career. It was the best career move that I ever made, even though the compensation was less and the work hours longer!

I write here at Medium, mostly for my own amusement and to share some of the insights I’ve garnered in my working and personal lives. I am a wife, mother, and caretaker of four-legged creatures for over forty years; a house is not a home without a least one cat or dog! Some of the best life-lessons were taught by the many dogs and cats with whom I’ve shared my life here on mother earth.
