raindrops splatter upon concrete roads
minute kamikazes in multitudes
sending people scattering
seeking for shelter
terrorizing the world in drenching fires
not knowing if it would start
or if it would ever end
or “if” becomes a matter of “when”
but knowing it
IS almost a force of nature
the raindrops
