You’re the high achievers
Made us believers — once promised gun control, then none
You are not the outcasts
You are the backlash, against those military guns
So glad — you’ve shown you are strong
Trolls will try to hurt you, with lies about you
Don’t let them get beneath your skin
Keep them on the outside, give them no sunlight
The NRA can’t win
And relish in youth power when you
Say what most people pray
And call the Congress out
Honestly, we can’t believe you’re so brave
Take-charge, lead the way
The vi-o-lence must stop
Honestly, we’re proud that you are so brave
We plan to march with you
We’re your supporting crew
We know no less will do
Lead by example, be brave
This time, you are the who’s who
We know you’ll see this thing through
We are so proud of you

Others tried before you
Politicians — stared-down by the NRA
Falling to the fear, lost votes, donations
Bow to the gun lobby
Your gun, the strength of your tongue
Maybe on the March day, we’ll see your brave rub off
POTUS needs to stop feeding at the NRA trough
