Terrorist

My life is full of ways to die.
Who benefits when fear is high?
Who profits most from my alarm?
The few who truly mean me harm?
The parents who would clip my wings?
The merchants hot to sell me things?
The networks with their ratings wars?
The zealots living just next door?
Or those who seek my sacred vote
By stoking fears howe’er remote?
Who wins when fear is all there is?
Who really is the terrorist?
