The Loathe of Alice

Alice found herself
staring back
vacuous
–jaundice cat
in her looking-glass.
The malice
of Alice ㅤas such
she couldn’t even
find it
in herself
to care much
about anyone else
even an ill Alice.
Transfixed
she winced
to her own
loathing grin,
hissed:
I really
don’t care,
do
U?
