The Worse Bully of All

Trent was mean to me,
He called me names,
He teased me,
He tripped me.
He laughed at me.

He said he can do it,
Cause Trump does.
His dad supported Trump,
His dad hates blacks,
And immigrants,
And people with
Hispanic blood like me,
He has a Confederate Flag
And, a gun.

He wants to be like his dad
Who wants to be like Trump.

Trent used to be my friend
Before Trump
Told him I was bad.
I’m not bad,
I’m a good kid,
I never hurt anyone,
Why does he hate me?

That is bullying!
Tell the teacher!
Tell the principal!

Teacher has a Trump sticker —
Principal called Trent’s dad
Who laughed
And congratulated Trent —
Principal said stop,
But Trent’s dad didn’t
And Trent won’t.

How do we stop the bullies
When our nation
Is run by the

Worse Bully of All?

I was always a writer but lived in a bookkeeper’s body before I found Medium and broke free — well, almost. Working to work less and write more.
