This be America
Black and brown
Cops aiming
Hands held high
Shots fired
Or knee to the neck
Until another
Black man dies

I can’t breathe
No care for human dignity

This be America
Where racism still roam
It ain’t even safe to sleep if you black
Police will still gun you down
In your home
Where you get murdered for jogging
Or when a man can kill a kid
For wearing a hoodie
While on his way home

This be America
Red, white and blue
Where the whites get the privilege
The blue do the killing
The red from brown bodies spilling

This be America
You want change
It's not rapping our songs
Or protesting in our names
Get off the sideline
Get in the game
Stop commenting on the fight
Climb into the ring

This be America
I’ll leave with this to say
Discrimination on any human I hate to see
Until we’re all equal
Stop calling this the land of the free
