I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice-cream
la — la la la la

I scream, you … hey stop!
You can scream for vanilla ice-cream cos you can
You can scream for vanilla ice-cream cos you’re white
And if you want to, you can scream for chocolate, too
And you — you can scream for chocolate cos it’s all you can have
Cos you can’t scream for vanilla ice-cream cos you’re black

I scream, you scream, but we can’t all scream
for vanilla ice-cream
La la la… la la…

… just trying to understand our world… and the roots of systemic racism… and failing miserably.
