Scotty from Marketing called,
his winter trip,
a seasonal jaunt,
escaping the blaze
for Maui sea breeze,
postponed, curtailed,
up in smoke.
Time on his hands,
while others choke,
learns to fiddle,
a tune unwoke,
climate won’t change
this simple bloke.
