Wasting Your Life

Feel the weight of it all
you waste your life.
Feel the wait of it all
you waste your time.

Into each life some rain must fall.
Who said that you had to drink it all?

Feel the length of your fall
you waste your flight.
See yourself growing short
you waste your height.

Into each life some rain must fall.
Who said that you had to drink it all?
Who capsizes when they see a wave?
Who drowns when they could have swam so safe?

Will you view me in your mirror?
Will your cold hands freeze together?

In a restless night when you pray for escape.
Time for finding hours to lose in your day.
In the bloodied cuts where you hide all your scrapes from your gaze.

Feel the weight of it all
you waste your life.
