What We Got With Nothing

We found a lot when living simply
We found a home, a tree, a sky

We found we needed less than
We thought we had to buy

We found our leaders offered
Nothing. We took it, and it gave

A collected sense of hope and love
A golden light each soul can save

We’ll hold tightly to our nothing
Tying bright future to lost past

Because we know there’s more
to come: Our nothing needs to last
