It is oppressive
the proximity to
a dictator
you struggle with it
like a pillow
meant to smother
just to catch
one breath
just to live
and then consider
the ruin
the edge
the abyss
only then
to consider
the ripped out
insides only then
to consider
the as far
as you can see them
consequences
and will you
jump or
dangle there
or find a
foothold
and step
by step
walk away
from the
vibration
this fine edge
this all
that is
lost
will you?
