Words that hold power, and what they convey,
Came From FDR, and won the day.
What words say, and what they do,
Mattered to the Aryan, and to the Jew.
JFK said “Don’t just utter”, but “Live by words.”
So, we soared to the moon, like thunderbirds.
The words you oil, and what lies you spread,
Affect the living and betray the dead.
When words spread hate, on either side,
Mind madness reigns, and hearts subside.
When all reality is lost and truth erodes,
We’ll need more than words, when Earth explodes.
