Subtext to stream forthcoming release exclusively on Resonate

Resonate is delighted for xin to stream their upcoming Subtext release solely through our #stream2own player.

This project is fundamentally about enabling artists to build sustainable careers on their own terms, so supporting an artist as they move away from corporate platforms and unwanted industry pressures is exactly what we’re here to do.

It can be difficult for artists to reject dominant streaming and social media platforms nowadays, especially as the underground seems increasingly beholden to major corporations. From labels to publishers, indie music often struggles.

We think that pursuing independence can be a viable choice for musicians in today’s industry, and we are keen to support xin and other artists as they develop their careers however they see fit. We work to empower musicians to make choices that are right for them.

Our platform is built by and for artists, so we’re happy to support a member of our team as they promote their work through our player.

Aside from possible previews for promotion, To Shock the Sky and Shake the Earth will only be available for streaming through Resonate from May 25.
