Someone sent me this video, and I could not say no to the title. Who would? Hit play, watched, and melted on the spot at the risk of evaporation.

This is the perfect perk me up for you, my dear readers!

The giant panda is a bear native to south-central China.

Human activities such as farming, deforestation, and other developments, drove it out of the lowland areas where it once lived. The giant panda reproduces at a rate of about one young every two years. It is a conservation-reliant, vulnerable species.

Conservation efforts had some success. In 2016, the IUCN reclassified the giant panda from “endangered” to “vulnerable”. Despite the improvement in numbers, the State Forestry Administration of China would not lower the conservation level for the giant panda and reinforced the conservation efforts instead.

And that's good news for our dear baby panda!

It means a lot that you are here. Let’s be friends and stay in touch via email.
