Happy New Year 2022
Happy New Year!!!
Not only is it a brand new year, but this is also the second year I’ve been writing here on Medium.
I always love the start of a week, or a month and better yet, the start of a new year, because it’s a clean slate of promises to keep, dreams to make come true, or even rebuild ourselves and let go of the past.
In the past two years where everything has become so uncertain due to covid, we had to find ways to adapt and focus on what we can do rather than what we can’t.
We had to take new routes in our lives and learn to adjust. Easier said than done I know with so much uncertainty, but we had to use our own inner compass to guide us along.
And when 2019 ended and I was looking forward to 2020 being a new year and new decade, no one could have ever known what was waiting around the corner.
Many of us found ourselves at a crossroads. If you’re familiar with the 1939 movie Wizard of Oz, you’ll know the scene between Dorothy and the scarecrow.
