Has Working From Home Given Us Extra Bad Habits?
From working in pyjamas to farting at desks…
So the inevitable has happened. Life is semi back to normal; after being in a pandemic for 2 years, I am now back to working at the office twice a week. I haven't gotten used to it, and I struggle to function at the same level as my pre-pandemic levels. It made me wonder: has working from home has given us bad habits?
Farting at desks
Farting at the desk has to be the worst habit some people have picked up during their two years working from home. I say this because it happened on my first day back at the office. I was sitting at my desk in the office when I smelt the awful stench of someone's offensive gas. It lingered in the air for several minutes even after I opened the window. Annoyingly, there was no way of figuring out who had let out their unholy gas because it could have come from anyone since the office was filled with people that particular day.
This brings me to my next question; if I was alone in my room, would I have bothered to go to the toilet to fart, or would I fart at my desk? Could it be that this farting incident is just one of the awful bad habits? I think so.
