In this piece, updated in April 2023, I explore the ideas of team, cross-functionality and cultural diversity in a Scrum/Agile context. Combining these three features, I suggest an exformative approach to culture wave constellations and intercultural agility routines (kata) — thus setting the conditions right, in order for multicultural (and sometimes distributed) teams to emerge.

The current article is in line with the Scrum Alliance learning goals on facilitation defined as part of the CSP-SM learning journey.
