CALLING ALL SUPERHEROES!

Flawed, of course, worked here and there,
Still on the job, no glory here, a have-to to bear.

Alert! For years to come the nights will continue to be dark,
Alas, were it not for science and nature, life would be a lark.

When people need help, we, as heroes, risk our lives,
It’s always a case of someone inflicting pain, hurt, lies.

Bad guys can become heroes, too. They can turn around,
People can stop making mistakes, start over on new ground.

If you want to be a superhero, you must be a good guy or gal,
You can make a stand, you have the will, be a friend, be a pal.

So, almost all of them came, they stood in line to gain fame,
Super people who turned a new leaf! Super heroes, they became!
