According to the US Consumer Product Safety Commission, several strollers are being recalled over a possible fall hazard.

The official announcement published by the regulatory agency demonstrates that the strollers named in this recall campaign may come with latches that could be loose, causing the seat to top back unexpectedly.

According to the official announcement, the devices may expose children to serious injury risks if they fall due to the loose latch. The report adds that the issue may only be a problem if the infant is in the parent-facing position.

Recalled units include the Mamas & Papas’ Armadillo Flip strollers with the lot numbers ranging from 00814 to 00416 and the Armadillo Flip XT strollers with the lot numbers ranging from 01214 to 00416.

The recalled units were sold nationwide between December 2014 and July 2016. And according to the CPSC, at least 10 reports of incidents associated with the seats tipping back were reported. No injuries were linked to the incidents.

Stop using the recalled stroller if you own one and contact Mamas & Papas so that you may learn more about how to have the device repaired for free.
